Another facet of the conglomerate is its power generation measures for captive and commercial purposes. A unique feature of this division is that both conventional and non-conventional methods have been adopted. Conventional plants for power generation have been set up at various places in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
- 56.5 MW capacity coal based (Co-generation) power plants have been installed for captive and commercial purpose at Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
- 25 MW Capacity Coal based Power Plant at Kurnool (under Errection) for captive purpose.
- 24.8 MW capacity furnace oil based captive power plant has been installed at Kurnool, A.P.
- 38 MW capacity furnace oil based power plant has been installed at Bellary, Karnataka State for commercial purpose.
- 5 MW capacity Wind Power Plants are installed at Ramagiri, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh for captive consumption purpose.
- 11.25MW capacity Wind Power Projects are installed at Kanya Kumari and Theni of Tamil Nadu State for commercial purpose.
- The TGV Group is also a promoter Member of 272 MW capacity Gas based Power Plant of A.P. Gas Power Corporation Ltd. At Vijeswaran, Andhra Pradesh. Our Group Chairman, Sri T.G. Venkatesh is one of the Director of the above concerned.
- The TGV Group has entered M.O.U. with State Govt. of Tripura for setting up of 441 MW capacity gas based power project in Tripura State.
- The TGV Group has obtained permission from Govt. of Andhra Pradesh for setting up of 14.5 MW capacity Hydel Power Plant on Telugu Ganga Scheme at Chennamukka Palli Regulator in Kadapa District. The implementation of the Project is under progress.
